OUR WEEKEND

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend with lots of friends! Saturday was Desiree's birthday party at Sesqui State Park. Alyssa spent Friday night at Desiree's house helping her get ready for the party. They baked and decorated 5 cakes!
The kids had a great time running in the woods at Sesqui. The water guns were a big hit and everyone was soaked... especially Matthew.
When we got home, Hunter came over to spend the night. It happened to be his tenth birthday, so we had cupcakes and roasted marshmallows by the bonfire.
We had a surprise visit from our friends the Reupke's. Matthew Reupke is in Matthew's class and his dad was Alyssa's DARE officer this year. They are considering buying the house behind us (we've got our fingers crossed) and stopped over after they toured the house.
The boys enjoyed a late night swim.
Love our palm trees!!
Brady goes crazy over splashing water! Hunter loves to watch him try to bite the water.
We sang Happy Birthday poolside!
Sunday we went to church, then to one of our favorite restaurants, Mellow Mushroom with Hunter, Trish, Lexy, and Kali.
After lunch we stopped at the main library downtown. This is always a highlight for Ethan because he loves to sit and listen to books on cassette and cd.
The boys used the craft tables to make paper airplanes.
Then it was back home for some time in the pool.
After dinner the ice cream truck came by. The kids went flying out the door and flagged him down. What a great way to end a fun weekend!
Super fun weekend with lots of relaxing. Good thing, because this week consists of orthodontist appointments, school award ceremony, 5th grade graduation, 8th grade graduation, baseball games, end of the year party, ALERT party, Soccer party, and the last day of school!
