Tri-DAC

 

We haven’t seen much of Alyssa for the past three weeks.  She’s been dancing, dancing, and dancing, thirty hours each week!!   Tri-DAC is offered to rising 6th to rising 9th graders and this is Alyssa’s second year attending.  She loves it!!!   At the end of the three weeks they put on a show.   This year they performed the Carnival of the Animals.   

The program keeps growing and growing.  This year they had about 50 dancers.

She’s in there somewhere!     Alyssa was the schoolmarm in the elephant dance.

Nic @ Nite

 

Last week, our church held Nic @ Nite.  Alyssa, Matthew, Dave, and I helped out, while Ethan joined in on the fun!   The nights were full of fun, games, and learning about Jesus.

South Carolina State Museum

Martha and I took the kids to the State Museum to see the traveling Pirate exhibit.  (thanks for hooking us up with the tickets, Martha!)   The kids had a great time wandering the museum at their own pace (fast!) and then going to see the Pirate exhibit.  It was a great way to stay cool on a hot summer day!

   

All of the kid’s enjoyed running from activity to activity in the hands on area.    Finally, the Pirate exhibit!!!  Even Hunter and Matthew got into it.  Haley put on a puppet show for us. Could be a problem when the Captain can’t see over the wheel!   

 Of course, they had to hit the gift shop for candy.
