Friday Night at the Zoo

We love the Riverbanks Zoo!
Tonight was "Members night." Every so often they open the zoo back up at 6:00 for members. It's always nice to be able to go at night during the summer to avoid the sun and heat. They usually have some extra encounters and hands on areas for everyone to enjoy. Tonight the highlights were the Alligator feeding and petting a Corn Snake. Ethan is all boy, just like Matthew, and wasn't about to pass up the opportunity to touch a real snake! Matthew wasn't with us tonight because he's gone camping for the weekend with his friend William. They went to Hunting Island State Park, my favorite place in South Carolina, and I'm sure he's having a great time!
