A WEEKEND WITH GRANDMA AND PAPA

We had a great weekend at the beach! Dave's mom and dad flew down from MA and we all went to Myrtle Beach for a long weekend. We stayed at the Camelot. It's a fun hotel with a large pool, hot tub and lazy river. All of the water proved to be a bit challenging with Ethan in a cast, but we made it work. It was a fun 4 days and we were all sad to see it end! Thanks for everything Grandma and Papa!
"Prepping" the cast for water. First saran wrap wrapped around and tucked into the edges, next a plastic bag, then more saran wrap and last but not least duct tape - of course!
Looks a little redneck, but it worked!

Sunday night was the arcade night. Everyone had fun playing games and earning tickets!

Pawleys Island is always one of our favorite beaches to walk and explore. It was fun this time too, but VERY windy. It looked like it was going to rain for a while and we did get dripped on a bit, but for the most part we stayed dry. Ethan was excited to find a small crab and Dave found some sort of baby fish/stingray in the water.

Friendly's was our last stop before heading home. We don't have a Friendly's in Columbia so when we go to the beach the kid's beg to go.
I think this picture of Ethan could be used on their menu!
