Charleston with Nana and Papa
>> Sunday, December 13, 2009
The idea was to go to church... we were all getting ready, really we were. Then we realized that the forecast for the rest of the week was less than perfect so we decided to take advantage of Sunday's perfect weather and head to Charleston. We went to Folly beach and walked and walked and walked. It was a beautiful day... practically perfect!
Look at the kids on the right, getting ready for a loving embrace. What's that, you think it looks like they're fighting??? Never, not my kids!!! HA!`
The Dolphins were very active and put on a great show for us!
We were prepared! It doesn't matter what the temperature is, Ethan is going to get wet. Dave was smart and put him in his wetsuit. He loved it, he played and played in the water and never once said he was cold!
Matthew - our master shark tooth hunter. He came home with another handful!
Love this picture of Papa and Matthew
These kids never tire of playing in the sand
Probably checking on some very important football scores!
After the beach we went into Charleston and did some shopping at the market
Gullah baskets are beautiful, but much too expensive for me!
We ended the day with a delicious dinner at Bubba Gumps
