Springfield Quadrangle Museums and Dr. Seuss
>> Friday, June 19, 2009
Yesterday, Alyssa went to work with Nana and "worked" for the day. She loved being able to make her own money.
While she was there, Dave and I took the boys to the Quadrangle in Springfield and visited the museums. Dave spent his time at the Connecticut Valley History Museum in the Genealogy library. He was able to dig up some interesting stuff!!
I took the boys to the Science Museum and then outside to the Dr. Seuss statues. A great day for all of us despite the rain!!
Ethan was sure that this was Tiger Lily, and well, if Tiger Lily was there, Peter Pan must have somewhere in the building!
Ethan crawling into the dinosaur footprint.
Matthew learning how much/little he would weigh on the different planets.
The boys enjoying the warped mirror.
Matthew loved the toy soldier room in the Local History Museum
