Sunday afternoon at the zoo

 

We usually spend Sunday afternoons doing something fun as a family.  This past Sunday after church we went to lunch at Macaroni Grill ~ a favorite for all 5 of us.  Then we were headed to the "big" library downtown only to find out that it didn't open until 2:00.  We decided to kill the hour at the zoo.  We have a membership so we don't mind going for a short time.  This time we only visited the reptiles and birds. 

Matthew has become quite the yoyoer.  I'm sure that isn't a word, but I'm going to use it anyway.  He is very rarely seen without his yo yo these days.

 

Ethan has been living, eating and breathing all things Peter Pan.  He loved seeing the crocodiles.  He was sure that this one is the one that ate Captain Hook's hand.  He insisted that he could hear the watch ticking.

 

After our short, but fun visit at the zoo we went to the library.  No more pictures though because the camera battery died.

Another successful Sunday afternoon.
