Soccer Tournament

 Today, Matthew played in the Kohl's US Youth Soccer American Cup Tournament.  This tournament had over 90 teams and more than 1,200 players!!  CRAZY!!  Although Matthew's team didn't win, the boys had a great time and played hard!!   

Matthew played goalie for most of the day and then half back for the 2nd half of his last game.  He did great.  In the second game I think he had 30 shots on him in the first half!  He stopped all but 2 of them.

 Miguel. He and Matthew have been on the same team for the last 3 years, in the same class at school for 2 years and they share the same birthday.

It was a long day on the fields, but it was a beautiful day so we enjoyed being outside.
