Snow day–Snow week!

 

It snowed.  6 inches.  On a Sunday night.  In South Carolina.

No school Monday.  No school Tuesday.  No school Wednesday.  No school  Thursday. 

And Friday and the following Monday were scheduled no school days so the kids ended up with a 10 day break!!

We played in the snow until it couldn’t be played in any more!  We had a blast! 

Someone forgot to wear the bottom portion of his pants when we went sledding!

This golf course could really use a ski lift.  Carrying him up the hill over and over with his snowboard attached is very tiring!

We’re just not prepared to play in the snow in South Carolina so you never know what you’re going to see on the hills.  Lots of cookie sheets, plastic totes, trash can lids, and this day we saw a top to a roof top carrier and a boat!!!  Too funny!!

I tried hard to stay away from the ramp, but you just can’t steer a boogie board in the snow!

I don’t know how these boys didn’t end up with a broken bone.  They crashed like this more times than I can count!

Ethan was much braver than I thought he would be.    He hit the ramp and looked terrified, but got up and laughed and said he was doing it again.  He came down over and over and over again!
